Homecoming 2024

This year, my employers decided not to utilize me for photographing the homecoming festivities. I still felt that it was worthwhile to do so, however. For me, photography and design are not just lines on my job description. I enjoy doing it. Perhaps even more so, I enjoy sharing the things I do with people that I know will appreciate and use them. For these reasons, it was perhaps "freeing" that I was not "working" as I took these. I was free to take the shots I wanted to take without having to worry about dumping 80% of them to conserve space on the office's asset management systems. I was free to share them with people who would use them! These photos were done out of love for my craft, my people, and my programs. To me, that most certainly equals a day well spent.
