Ich Schwitze nicht — Ich Patiniere

The title of this piece translates to "I'm not sweating — I'm developing a patina." I think that captures my sense of humor well. My goal for this sculpture was to push myself in regards to the amount of detail I could carve into one of my bronze sculptures. Additionally, I found the glasses to be a difficult challenge as well! The sculpture is composed of a wooden base, bronze figure, and wire glasses.
