With IT Part II coming out within a week of completing this one, I figured it would be fun to make a cool illustration of everyone's favorite killer clown while also trying out some new illustration techniques.
I've played around with vector illustrations before but I tend to zoom in very close and spend too much time adding details that no one but me will notice. I don't consider that a bad thing, necessarily, but when it leads to projects not ever getting finished that can become an issue. To avoid that with this piece, I made a rule that I couldn't zoom in while drawing this one. It forced me to accomplish my goal with a reasonable limitation and I think for the most part it was successful.
